Property Description

Bwthyn y Bugail is perched on the edge of the glorious rolling Pembrokeshire countryside, surrounded by meadows and offering picture postcard, far reaching valley views from each room. This beautifully restored shepherd’s barn was originally used to house a flock of sheep, which can now be seen grazing these fields. This lovely detached cottage has been finished to a good standard whilst retaining character and a contemporary feel. It is positioned in a great spot along a farm lane and is just a short work into the hamlet of Abercych. Here you can walk along the river Cych or enjoy some home cooked produce and local ale at the nearby inn, where you can dine al fresco whilst overlooking the river. A few minutes along the river and you can discover Cenarth, a delightful village with the river Teifi meandering through. If timed well you can see the salmon leaping up through Cenarth Falls which really is a sight!

Bwthyn y Bugail offers a large open plan living, dining and kitchen area complete with tiled flooring, vaulted ceilings and beams with large glass windows to take in the epic views. Patio doors lead out onto a private patio area, again enjoying fabulous views and is an ideal place for a barbecue! The spacious country kitchen is well-equipped, complete with a focal range cooker ideal for cooking that special meal. The master suite really is special with super kingsize bed (with the option to convert into twin beds upon request), vaulted ceilings and beams and is complete with your own en-suite facilities. Each bedroom has been lovingly furnished throughout.

The dramatic North Pembrokeshire coastline and Cardigan Bay are all within a 20-minute drive and include some truly beautiful beaches with Poppit Sands, Newport Sands and Mwnt really worth a visit. A great day out for all is the walled town of Tenby, complete with sandy beach, cobbled streets and a host of eateries and craft shops. Beach 11 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
