The extremely well-equipped bespoke country kitchen has oak worktops, a Belfast sink and a range cooker, as well as all the appliances you would expect, including a pod coffee machine. The kitchen leads through to the bright and airy sun room with dining table, sofas, Bose sound system, and French doors leading to the lawned garden. The amazing views across the Teifi Valley will be sure to delight as you sit with a glass of wine and relax. Also on the ground floor is a large utility room and a ground floor shower room. Upstairs you will find three bedrooms, the master having a super kingsize bed and an en-suite with bath and shower cubicle. There is also a double room and a single room, and the family bathroom has a bath with a shower over.
Being so well situated for discovering Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire, you will be spoiled for choice with things to see and do. A 5-minute drive will bring you to the market town of Llanybydder with convenience stores, takeaways and pubs. The university town of Lampeter, a few miles further on, has a larger array of shops and lovely cafés, as well as a couple of supermarkets. A mere 30-minute drive will bring you to stunning Cardigan Bay. There is 60 miles of coastal path to enjoy and lots of lovely beaches, many of which are dog friendly year round if you are bringing your pet on holiday with you. Do make sure you visit pretty New Quay, where the houses cling to the rocks above the bay. There dolphins can regularly be seen and boat trips are available to see the marine wildlife. The attractive Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron, distinctive because of its coloured houses, has a great selection of independent shops, cafés and restaurants and many events going on throughout the season. Whilst you’re here, enjoy a visit to the National Trust property at Llanerchaeron.
You can get a fabulous view of the stunning Welsh landscape on the Vale of Rheidol Railway that meanders from Aberystwyth to Devil’s Bridge and Falls. Head for an amazing animal encounter at the Nant yr Arian Forest Visitor Centre, where you can see red kites being fed as they turn up in large numbers every day for their free meal. There are waymarked trails on foot, by bike or on horseback. Country walks and stimulating outdoor activities fill every corner of the countryside, try your hand at canoeing at the renowned Llandysul Paddlers or take to the cycle paths through the Brechfa Forest. The fresh air, freedom and adventure on offer make this part of west Wales the perfect destination for a get away from it all break, so come and enjoy a holiday at Pantmeddyg and find out for yourself.
