Manor Farmhouse dates back to Tudor times, with later Victorian additions. It is a fabulous, comfortable family home full of quirky original features and some uneven floors which all add to the charm and sense of history. The house is a lovely holiday home, perfect for holidays and short breaks all year round.
The ground floor has a traditional large farmhouse kitchen, a comfortable sitting room with wood burner and a lovely large dining room which has a snooker table and piano, french doors leading to the patio and one-acre garden surrounded by mature trees and woodland. Upstairs, set over two floors are six bedrooms, two with en-suites and two separate bathrooms.
The house has everything you will need for a fabulous holiday – there are books galore, DVDs, Wii games, snooker, the piano for family sing-a-longs, board games and garden games. You won’t want to leave!
The farmhouse is located in the small hamlet of Little Mongeham (pronounced munjam!) and is a short drive to Deal which is a really vibrant seaside town. It has a long pier, a long stretch of beach, a pretty conservation area with lovely independent shops, and great restaurants and cafes. Sandwich is also a short drive, full of history and charm and home to two championship golf courses.
