Playing to nearly 6,000 yards from the back tees, Strathlene Buckie Golf Club gives golfers of all levels more than enough challenge than they could hope for and more. Designed by the legendary Ben Sayers, the Spey Bay Golf Course was opened in 1907. The gentle 6219 yard layout is renowned as one of the finest on the Moray coast. At the far end of the course will find the signature par 3 8th hole. 138 yards may look innocuous on the card, but the plateau green and stunning view may be enough to make you think twice!

Buckie has a busy harbour where boat trips can be taken to observe the marine and bird life. Inland, follow the Whisky Trail amongst stunning scenery and treat yourself to a dram. Elgin, with its Cashmere Visitor Centre and historic cathedral, is well worth a visit and there are many castles to explore in the surrounding area.
