Trethorne is situated right on the Devon and Cornwall border, on the edge of Launceston. Our award winning golf course is said to be one of the most beautiful courses for golf in Cornwall. The golf course presents a challenging and scenic Par 71 parkland layout, with numerous water hazards and tree-lined fairways. The greens are built to a USGA specification, making them free draining and playable all year round.
Launceston Golf Club is a set in a truly magnificent setting for a round of golf, with splendid views of the beautiful and picturesque Tamar Valley all around for you to enjoy as you plot your way around a challenging, yet exciting course that features some really testing, unique and individual holes. The greens are exceptionally well maintained.
Holsworthy Golf Course enjoys 18 holes of parkland golf over the most tranquil and beautiful countryside Devon has to offer. Situated in the heart of North Devon just 20 minutes from Bude on the spectacular North Devon Coast and with far reaching views to Dartmoor National Park, it is a course you will want to play again and again. The course offers golfers of all levels an enjoyable experience. Some holes demand long drives or accuracy while other are more forgiving providing a balanced and enjoyable test of golf. Since 2012, considerable work has been undertaken throughout the course to improve drainage and overall condition resulting in a course that is playable all year with excellent greens.
Founded in 1913, members, friends and guests have played golf at Okehampton for nearly one hundred years and whilst much may have changed, visitors to Okehampton can always be assured of a warm welcome. So, whether you are a low handicapper or an enthusiastic beginner, worry not as a thoroughly enjoyable day’s golf awaits all that play.
With its wide fairways and sweeping vistas the course, Tavistock looks deceptively simple but its offers a challenging test for the unwary golfer. Nature has provided its own hazards at Tavistock, with thick gorse and bracken, plus the odd clump of scrubby trees. There are also cunningly hidden bunkers that can trap the most proficient golfer. The thin soil not only provides tight lies, it also makes the greens lightning fast.
