This is a beautifully presented fisherman’s cottage, located in the heart of leafy Lytham, within walking distance of all the shops, bars and restaurants. Ideal for families and groups of friends, New Cottage is located at the end of a row, just a 5-minute walk to Lytham Green and all the many designer boutiques and stylish bars and restaurants on offer in sophisticated Lytham. The area offers a wide choice of entertainment and leisure facilities including boating, walking, cycling and bowling as well as plenty of championship golf courses. The reeds and marshes of the close by Ribble Estuary are popular with birdwatchers and wildlife lovers. The town hosts many events throughout the year, including the famous Lytham Proms, whilst the popular kite festival is held on the beach at St Annes. Lytham Hall, a Grade I listed country house surrounded by parkland, hosts events and also has a lovely café. The holiday resort of Blackpool is only 5 miles away, offering a wide variety of attractions for all the family, including its famous Tower, Pleasure Beach, Blackpool Zoo and Sea Life Centre. Slightly further afield the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the South Lakes can be reached within an hour. Beach 300 yards. Shop 250 yards, pub 100 yards and restaurant 400 yards.

Royal Birkdale

Situated on the golden links of the North West coast in Southport, Royal Birkdale is possibly the finest of all courses in England. Royal Birkdale has held more Championship and International events since World War 2 than any other course in the World; Open Championships, Ryder Cups, Women’s British Opens, Amateur Championships, Walker cups and Curtis Cups. Royal Birkdale Golf Club has been voted the number one golf club in England, one of the top five clubs in the UK and amongst the top 35 in the World. Visitors are assured of a warm welcome on and off the course, delivering a golfing experience second to none. This is truly a golfing experience not to be missed.

Royal Lythm & St Annes

Royal Lythm & St Annes Golf Club was founded in 1886 and the present Course constructed in 1897. It is one of the premier links courses in the World, host to eleven Open Championships, two Ryder Cups and numerous other major tournaments including the Women’s and Senior’s Open Championships and the Walker Cup in 2015. Renowned as a course which is hard to scramble a good score, Royal Lythm & St Annes has just the 174 bunkers peppering the fairways and surrounding the greens. Although not the longest of Championship courses, it is one where careful and accurate shots are essential. You really do feel you are walking in the footsteps of Open Champions when you tee it up at Royal Lythm & St Annes.
