Silkstone Golf Club is a friendly and welcoming golf club, in Barnsley South Yorkshire. The club which was established in 1893 is 6363 yards long from the yellow tees and is a test for golfers of all abilities.  After the recent re-development in 2008, we now offer an excellent championship golf course with the some of the finest practice facilities in the county.  The stunning views over the Silkstone valley towards Emley Moor and Cannon Hall enhance the experience of playing a round or two of golf in such a beautiful and relaxing setting. This impressive course is superbly maintained and remains open throughout.

After the recent re-development in 2008, it now offers an excellent championship golf course. Tankersley Park Golf Club boasts a modern, well-equipped clubhouse and a beautifully manicured golf course. Much of the wonder of this course is that someone could have plotted a route through these obstacles to build the testing holes that now occupy the landscape.

At 6,141 yards off the White Tees (5,812) off the Yellow Tees), and with a Par of 70/SSS of 71, Woodsome Hall golf course provides a fine test of skill with accuracy, patience and concentration being the keys to scoring well. With over 70 bunkers, many of them having recently been re-laid and repositioned, long Par 3’s and testing Par 5’s there is plenty to keep you on your toes throughout the course of a round.
