Matlock Golf Club Established in 1906 on the undulating moorland above the town of Matlock, the eastern gateway to the Peak District National Park, our Club offers a challenging 18-hole par 70 course with spectacular views across the Derwent Valley and unrivalled practice facilities, including a 10 bay covered and floodlit driving range.
Ashbourne GC is consistently rated in the top 3 courses in Derbyshire. With spectacular views towards Dovedale and the Peak District, only a mile from the centre of Ashbourne, the course is set in open countryside but is easily accessible from the A50 and the A52. The course in its present form was designed by the well-known golf course architect, David Hemstock, and was opened in 1999, although parts of it go back much earlier.

It is only a short drive to Dovedale and the other lovely dales of the limestone White Peak District, which offers great walking. A little further afield, visit Alton Towers theme park for a great day out for both adults and children alike.
