Marriot St Pierre Hotel Golf and Spa is a beautiful estate and Golf Course set in Chepstow outlined by the River Severn. The Hotel and Country Club boasts two fantastic Courses. The Championship Course which has hosted multiple major events including the Solheim cup and other tournaments that were won by 6 Ryder Cup captains. An achievement that the course is extremely proud of as they should be, it shows the magnitude of the golf course. The Mathern Course is an 18-hole course with a par of 68 and an extremely challenging course measuring 5730 yards, this was redesigned by Ross McMurray in 2008. Looking at the Championship course in greater detail the course was designed and opened in 1962 by C.k. Cotton. The courseās tagline is āSeve Ballesteros, Greg Norman and Bernhard Langer have played here, why not join the list of greats who have played the old course.

It includes the famous 18th with its elevated green, which has seen the climax to many an exciting professional tournament. Yet St. Pierre is much more than a Championship venue. The Mathern Course presents its own challenges to experienced and weekend players alike, ensuring even the novice golfer can enjoy a game here.
