Courses: Boughton – Faversham – Chestfield – Sittingbourne & Milton Regis
Sittingbourne & Milton Regis has an excellent reputation for playing conditions throughout the year and some of the best kept greens in the South of England. The course measures 6,295 yards, par 71 for men and 5,546 yards par 72 for ladies. Trees are the key feature, with many holes calling for an accurate tee shot – length often not being as critical. The Club offers a well stocked bar, along with first-class catering, ranging from bar snacks to magnificent banquets.
The 6255 yard par 70 downland course at Chestfield Golf Club is situated in beautiful countryside between the Forest of Blean and the coast, with magnificent views north-west over the sea to the Isle of Sheppey, the Thames estuary and Southend-on-Sea and beyond, whilst to the north-east the view stretches over the North Sea to the entrance of the English Channel. The course was opened on 5th of May 1924 by Abe Mitchell.
Nestling in rolling unspoilt Kent countryside Faversham is quite simply one of the loveliest golf courses in the south east of England. Complementing its beautiful surroundings Faversham has all you would expect from a long established parkland course with manicured tree lined fairways well conditioned and maintained tees and greens and imaginatively sculptured holes. The impressive new Clubhouse built in 1997 has added to its attraction. It is an ideal course for golfers of all abilities to learn and develop their game. Indeed, its challenges have set some of its members on the path to fame and fortune with former European Tour Player Roger Chapman and Solheim Cup Captain Mickey Walker both having honed their skills at Faversham.
Cave’s stunning 18 Hole golf course at Boughton has quickly become one of the most favoured courses in the Kent region. The main course measures 6,591 yards and has been designed to challenge golfers of every standard. Cave also has a Par 3 Academy Course set in 25 acres of orchards, the 9 hole course has varied distance holes and offers a unique opportunity for beginners to learn and practice as well as more experienced golfers an opportunity to sharpen their short game.
