Courses: Matfen Hall – Stocksfield – Slaley Hall & Hexham

Matfen Hall is sympathetically laid out on a classic parkland landscape. With 27 holes, the 6700 yard course incorporates challenging water features and unique obstacles. There is also a high quality nine hole par three course is ideal for the less experienced player.

Stocksfield is the most picturesque golf course in the Tyne Valley. Play a round on the fabulous 18 hole par 70 course then enjoy a drink and refreshments on the balcony overlooking the course.

One of the interesting things about Hexham is that the first and last holes require some tough decisions and can decide what sort of round you will have. Even if you’ve started well the 18th hole can be in the back of your mind as you wonder whether risking trying for a birdie on the last.

Renowned as the ‘Augusta Of The North’. The Hunting Course at Slaley Hall is one that should be on every golfer’s bucket list. The Priestman stretches away from the club itself, offering golfers panoramic views of the Northumberland countryside.
