Courses: Taunton & Pickeridge – Honiton – Cricket St. Thomas

Cricket St. Thomas benefits from outstanding views across the surrounding countryside, and is kept in top condition. The Par 70 course has matured into a beautiful parkland course with tree lined fairways with tricky greens to test golfers of all abilities. The course benefits from excellent drainage which guarantees all year round golf.

Taunton & Pickeridge Golf Club was first designed in 1892 by Mr Henry Fowler. There are spectacular views to the East across Sedgemoor to Glastonbury Tor and the Mendips, to the West lie the Brendons and Exmoor, to the North the Vale of Taunton and the beautiful Quantocks and to the South the Blackdowns.

Honiton Golf Club is a lovely course set high in the hills to the east of Honiton town with splendid views across to the Blackdowns. Established in 1896 the greens are maintained in excellent condition as are the fairways. The fourth tee is the first technical challenge with a number of others starting out tight. Although in the hills, the course itself is relatively flat to play but it does boast beautiful views in all directions, and benefits include smart clubhouse facilities with a friendly atmosphere.
