Silvemere – West Byfleet – Fox Hills – Surbiton
The 18-hole, former European Tour qualifying Golf Course, is undoubtedly one of the most challenging courses in Surrey and is available for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or an enthusiastic beginner, this beautiful course has something to suit all tastes.
West Byfleet Golf Club sits on Bagshot sand which gives good drainage and means it remains open when many other courses are closed. Measuring 6,200 yards off the men’s competition tees, it is not a long course by current standards, but with a par of 70 and six par four holes of over 400 yards each, it is regarded as a good test of golf, indeed par is rarely broken. The ladies’ course measures 5,600 yards with a par of 72. The Club’s signature hole is the 13th Pond hole, a short but tricky par three.
Foxhills offers three quality golf courses, combining parkland and heathland to provide challenges to golfers of every level. Enjoy nine holes on the par three Manor course or tackle one of two Championship courses, Longcross (in Golf World’s top 100 courses in England) or Bernard Hunt (home to the Senior PGA Professional Championship).
Surbiton Golf Club, one of Surrey’s best presented and admired golf courses, has a heritage stretching back to 1895. Surrounded by green country pastures with magnificent views towards London, the Club has a thriving membership across all ages and, following major course improvements, can rightly be described as a ‘True Gem’.
