Whitby, Yorkshire
Sleeps 4 Golfers
Courses: Whitby & Scarborough North Cliff
Low Season Golf Package Prices from £259pp
High Season Golf Package Prices from £309pp
This excellent property is right in the heart of Whitby in the centre of Church Street, one of the oldest parts of the town dating back as far the 1300s. This contemporary, luxurious apartment has been lovingly restored from an old back street bakery dating back to 1871, but the bakery theme still runs true throughout. Whitby Golf Club is easily accessible from the North East via Middlesbrough and from the South and West via Scarborough and York. The course is perfect for visitors as it is neither too long or difficult, but remains a good challenge for the lower handicap golfer. The weather conditions can also provide an interesting, if unexpected, playing partner. Although Scarborough North Cliff Golf Club dates back to 1909, the present course was designed by James Braid and established in 1928. The course starts on the cliff top and then moves inland threading its way between trees and spinneys, with lovely views of the North Yorkshire Moors before returning to the cliff top for the final three holes. The course is sufficiently undulating to be interesting without being excessively hilly and is a tough but fair test for golfers of all abilities.

Founded in 1908, Middlesbrough Golf Club is an 18 hole parkland course designed by James Braid. Nestled beside the River Tees with the Cleveland Hills as a backdrop, the 6,289 yard James Braid course is both picturesque and demanding due to the rolling terrain and sloping greens. Saltburn-by-the-sea measures 5,974 yards, par 70 for men and 5,561 yards par 72 for ladies and is a fair and enjoyable test of golf for any level of golfer. Cleveland Golf Club was established in 1887, our course is the only true Championship links, and also the oldest course in the county of Yorkshire. One of the most challenging courses in the area, Billingham offers eighteen holes that will shred the nerves.
