    At Scarborough South Cliff Golf Club, not only do they pride ourselves on being ‘the friendly club’ but they also offer a superb combination of excellent facilities and a spectacular course with open views out to sea. Considered by many as one of the finest courses in the North of England, they regularly host regional, county and national events and in 2016 were joint hosts of the English Amateur Championship.

    Although Scarborough North Cliff Golf Club dates back to 1909, the present course was designed by James Braid and established in 1928. The course starts on the cliff top and then moves inland threading its way between trees and spinneys, with lovely views of the North Yorkshire Moors before returning to the cliff top for the final three holes. The course is sufficiently undulating to be interesting without being excessively hilly and is a tough but fair test for golfers of all abilities.

    Enjoy a family holiday in this property, which has views from the living room and a cosy wood burner.

    Owned by Her Majesty the Queen, in Right of Her Duchy of Lancaster, Scalby Lodge is a collection of fifteen beautiful cottages situated in an idyllic clifftop setting near the elegant seaside town of Scarborough.

    All the cottages are finished with fixtures and fittings of the very highest standard and have open-plan dining. Some have en-suite bedrooms. They offer an ideal location from which to explore both the North York Moors National Park and the glorious Heritage Coast of Yorkshire.

    Living area:     With wood burner, Freeview TV, DVD player and French doors leading to garden.
    Dining area.
    Kitchen area:     Farmhouse style with electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
    Bedroom 1: With double bed, Freeview TV and wet room with shower, toilet and grab rails.
    Separate toilet.
    First Floor:
    Bedroom 2:     With kingsize bed, Freeview TV and en-suite with bath, shower cubicle and toilet.
    Bedroom 3: With twin beds.
    Bedroom 4: With twin beds.
    Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.
