Courses: Kirkbymoorside – Malton & Norton

North Yorkshire’s hidden gem is Kirkbymoorside. An 18 hole championship standard golf course, nestled in the foothills of the North York Moors. A challenging layout with spectacular views of the surrounding area. Great golf year round, whether you are a visitor, society or member. Every day is a great golf day. The 2017 Championship of Yorkshire Trilby Tour Venue. Kirkbymoorside Golf Club offers a challenging golf course set in a beautiful and quiet rural surrounding. It is situated on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. As one of the top 30 golf courses in Yorkshire, you will find a spectacular layout with immaculate fairways, fast undulating greens and a welcoming clubhouse upon arrival. Whatever the time of year, you will be impressed with the spectacular scenery which will surround you during the whole of your round. The view over the moors from the 13th tee is unsurpassed in the whole of the North of England. Looking away from the moors, the course offers distant views of the Yorkshire Wolds and The Hambleton Hills – both areas of outstanding natural beauty.

At Malton & Norton golfers can take full advantage of the exceptional practice facilities, which include a 12 bay covered driving range, and one of the region’s biggest and best short game areas. Most tend to play 9 holes in the morning, usually starting on our Derwent Course. This is a unique challenge, short in distance but tight fairways, plenty of water and tricky greens which make it great fun for golfers of all abilities. After a quick bite to eat head out on the Welham/Park course. A fantastic tree lined parkland course, with some of the best greens in the area. This course is a firm favourite with both members and visitors alike, who enjoy the wide fairways and undulating greens, particularly on the front 9.
